It was obvious from our first conversation how passionate Deepthi was about sharing the best of Sri Lanka with us. “We recently made a 15-day trip to Sri Lanka through Tropical Lanka Getaways and had a fabulous time thanks to the amazing itinerary. Our driver, Mahinda, was absolutely magic. He was friendly, intelligent, widely-travelled and always smiling and positive. Nothing was too much of a problem and his charm extended over to other Sri Lankan’s we encountered (restaurants, safari guides, etc) and in turn we were treated very well by everyone we met. His local knowledge was outstanding. We were very glad he was our driver and guide for a couple of weeks. We highly recommend the services of Tropical Lanka Getaways”.

“Thanks to Tropical Lanka Getaways for organising a wonderful life-changing holiday.
Our highlights included the Elephant Orphanage especially the lunch over the river with elephant walk, two wild life safaris and the Blue train trip through tea plantations from Kandy to the English Town! Our accommodation was great, especially the Cinnamon Wild with the elephant next to our room before we went to breakfast! Mountain Heavens boutique hotel in Ella had the best view ever! Jetwing hotels all were great… and the last hotel in Colombo Galle Face was grand and very opulent.
Our guide / driver was excellent and his Toyota Prius hybrid electric / engine car was neat tidy, clean and well airconditioned. His knowledge about all locations, plants birds, animals etc was amazing.
We will certainly travel again with Tropical Lanka Getaways and have already recommended you to our family and friends. Thank you again”

Overall, the accommodation was fantastic and the service terrific. The highlights for us were the Aliya Resort in Sigiriya, the Ferncliff Bungalow in Nuwara Eliya and the 98 Acres Resort in Ella.

“Everything of our Indian Tour went well as planned and our guide looked after us very well.
Ranthambore was great. We saw two tigers and a leopard, apparently quite unusual. Our sightseeing tours were really impressive – the forts in and around Agra, including Fatehpur Sikri, not to mention the Taj Mahal which was simply extraordinary.
The hotels have all been good. We particularly liked Laxmi villas palace in Bharatpur. The hotel in Jaipur was quite special too. We loved the Neem hotel in New Delhi, a quiet retreat from the noise and bustle of New Delhi.
Overall, our holiday experience in India was great. Thank you Tropical Lanka Getaways!”
